This week’s report was delayed to take in the T20 finals day yesterday. Sadly we went out in the semis, losing to Brentham despite Thomas Flavell’s brilliant hundred, as we fell short chasing 210.

On Saturday the 1s beat Wembley, Bhavic Tukrel taking 5-6. The 2s beat Stoke Newington, with Ryan Davies and Oli Bradbury both making 50s.

The 3s lost despite amassing 311-6 (Zach Fry 132, Nouman Tahir 57) and Nouman taking 4-27 in their chase. I’ve only ever known a Chiswick side score 300+ twice, both this season -and both time we’ve lost!

The 4s were on a bye week and will look to seal the title this week. The 5s lost to Ealing Trailfinders and the 6s lost to Kensington and Chelsea, with Gautham Radhakrishnan taking 5-50.

On Sunday we had a very successful club day, with 6 teams taking part in a mini-tournament, that was won by Richard Carroll’s team, on the last ball of the final – thanks to an overthrow. Thanks to everyone who took part, to all the organisers, and to everyone who contributed to the fundraising effort, which has lifted our Crowdfunder total to just under £8,000 – with Gift Aid still to add.

Monday also saw our U13s lose a friendly to Ealing at HQ.
