Dave ‘Mad Dog’ Phillips explains everything you wanted to know about the Devon tour:

The 2024 Devon Tour (the 83rd by the club) is open to players, officials and spectators past and present, plus guests welcome too.

It's a great opportunity to take a mid-season break from the league and either continue/rediscover form on some lovely grounds with cracking teas and excellent hospitality.

Ideally we'd love a good crew down for the week, but people are more than welcome to pop down for one, two or three days....

We have rooms booked at the Premier Inn on the Torquay seafront, (around £60pppn) close to night time attractions for after the game recreation!

Itinerary is:
Mon 29 July - 4:30pm T20 against South Devon CC, then into Newton Abbott for Ye Olde Cider Bar for a few pints of diesel.

Tue 30th July - Midday meet for 2pm start against Paignton CC

Wed 31st July - Midday meet for 1:30pm start against Exeter CC at The Old County Ground

Thur 1st Aug - Check out of Torquay and head to Exeter/Ottery St Mary for 2pm start against The Gentlemen of Devon CC, followed by BBQ and fines.
